HAZEN: Tickets are now available for one of the area’s most anticipated spring fundraisers as The Doggon’ Horse Races return to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 7 at 7 PM.

Hosted by K933 Events and Fundraisers in support of Pine Creek K9 Search & Rescue, the 21+ event promises an evening of high-energy entertainment, themed racing excitement, and community camaraderie — all benefiting a vital regional organization.

The interactive horse race fundraiser allows attendees to purchase and “own” horses in simulated races, cheer them on, and compete for prizes throughout the evening. Organizers say the event combines derby-style flair with local community spirit, making it both competitive and festive.

In addition to the races, guests can participate in a Chinese Auction, a 50/50 drawing, and a Derby Hat Contest, encouraging attendees to dress up and fully embrace the derby theme.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online. Organizers encourage early ticket purchases, as strong attendance is expected.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Pine Creek K9 Search & Rescue, helping support training, equipment, and operational needs for the organization’s ongoing search and rescue efforts across the region.

Attendees must be 21 or older to attend.
