CLARION: Moviegoers in Clarion will soon have a new place to catch the latest releases as Golden Ticket Cinemas prepares to open its new location inside the Clarion Mall.

The theater is aiming for a February 13^th opening date, pending final building inspections. The timing aligns with Valentine’s Day weekend, giving couples and families an opportunity to celebrate at the movies.

Renovated Lobby, Self-Serve Refreshments

When doors open, guests will notice a fully refreshed lobby and a redesigned concessions area. One of the standout features is the company’s signature “NON-STOP” self-serve refreshment station, allowing customers to refill popcorn and fountain drinks throughout the day of purchase.

The upgraded setup includes modern popcorn dispensers where guests can easily refill their own buckets — and add as much butter as they’d like. (Though theater officials jokingly note that butter is best kept off the soda, unless you’re hoping to miss half the movie.)

An expanded hot food menu will also be available at launch, broadening the snack options beyond traditional theater fare.

Seating Upgrades Coming Later This Year

For its initial opening phase, the Clarion location will operate with standard seating to ensure it can begin showing winter releases right away. However, additional improvements are already scheduled.

According to Joe Horton, Director of Press Relations for Golden Ticket Cinemas, the company plans to roll out a series of auditorium-by-auditorium upgrades throughout the spring and summer. Those enhancements will include luxury power recliners along with upgraded projection and sound systems.

“Opening in February allows guests to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the movies and enjoy new amenities right away,” Horton said. “We look forward to luxury recliners and enhanced sight and sound coming later this summer.”

Upcoming Releases

The theater’s opening lineup is expected to feature several highly anticipated titles, including Disney’s Hoppers, Project Hail Mary, and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Tickets for showtimes will be available online at GTCinemas.com, with additional updates shared on the theater’s social media platforms.

With a remodeled interior, self-serve concessions, and phased luxury upgrades on the horizon, Golden Ticket Cinemas’ arrival at the Clarion Mall marks a new chapter for local movie entertainment.
