MORRISDALE: A day of friendly competition, community spirit and support for student-athletes is on tap in Clearfield County this summer.
As part of the West Branch Baseball Alumni Weekend, organizers have announced a Cornhole Tournament scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 6786 Kylertown Drifting Highway in Morrisdale. Registration begins at 11:AM, with bags officially flying at noon.
The event will raise funds directly benefiting West Branch Baseball players, with proceeds supporting the program and its student-athletes.
Hosted By Slip It In Cornhole
The tournament is being run in partnership with Slip It In Cornhole (SIIC), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Clearfield County.
According to the organization, its mission is to bring cornhole enthusiasts together “to enjoy the game while raising money for local charities in Clearfield and surrounding counties.”
SIIC regularly hosts Friday night tournaments at local businesses throughout Clearfield County and organizes weekend events across Clearfield and Centre counties. Tournament details are typically available through the Scoreholio app.

Participants can expect:
- 60% payout for the competitive bracket
- A Beginner Tournament division for newer players
- Bring Your Own Partner format
- Players are asked to bring their own beverages, chairs and shade
The event will be held rain or shine, with a designated rain location inside the social hall if needed.
Food and snacks will be sold by the WB Booster Club, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere of the alumni weekend.
