When taking the position in 2017, Chief Blaine Clark expressed, “Public service has always been a passion of mine,” “Ever since I was a child, as long as I can remember, I wanted to work in public safety. I wanted to be both a police officer and firefighter because that’s something I witnessed my dad doing as well."
Today, Clark was placed on administrative leave and Officer Shawn McCleary was given the title of Interim Police Chief.
